When using Compiz Scale USB Mouse is "disconnected"...

Bug Description

This is a strange bug.

Unity 12.04 Beta 2
Logitech USB Mouse Anywhere MX

If I assign a screen corner to Compiz Scale (Show Windows) using Ubuntu Tweak, everytime a mouse over to that corner, I lose all USB Mouse functionality.

However, if I use CCSM to assign the middle mouse button to Scale (Show Windows), I don't lose USB Mouse functionality. Show Workspaces and Show Desktop also doesn't "disconnect" the USB mouse.

The Workaround:

1.) Lock Screen.
2.) Unplug USB Mouse.
3.) Plug USB Mouse back in.
4.) Unlock Screen.

Hello, what do you mean by "lose all USB mouse functionality"? You can use it any more?

The mouse stops working.

However, my bug report might have been premature. I was able to reproduce this bug twice. On that basis, I reported it. However, I haven't been able to reproduce this since. Nevertheless, my mouse continues to stop functioning at seemingly random times (especially after a screen lock or suspend).

This may have more to do with Compiz or Unity that Ubuntu Tweak. If anything changes, I will add another comment.

If you have further research, please update. Or you can report to Compiz/Unity.
