Bug Description

Hi
I've just upgraded to version 0.6.0 and my problem is that when I try to adjust windows' opacity, the program crashes with segmentation fault. For the first time, I could set the opacity to 0,90 for inactive windows, and the program crashed. (Same happened with active windows' adjustment). Now I can't reset nor adjust the opacity. I can enable/disable them, though.

Could you try to run Ubuntu Tweak under terminal by "ubuntu-tweak -d", then give the output to me? Thanks.

Here's the result (I commented it so that the Hungarian parts are
understandable).
Every other scales work, and I can also switch opacity on/off.

Thanks.

Did Ubuntu Tweak crash only when you adjust the opacity for inactive windows?

What's is your desktop environment?

I'm using unity on oneiric.
It crashes when I try to adjust the opacity for both active and inactive
windows.

Really strange, it's Unity desktop here.

Does other feature work?

What I've tried have worked.
It crashes under Ubuntu 2D and Gnome Shell also.
It would also be strange if the problem was with my installation, but it's
an option, too.

I just think that may be ~/.xsession-errors will include some useful information.

I've made a comment there with translation-ish notes.
For some reason, the key /apps/gwd/metacity_theme_active_shade_opacity
expects a boolean - seems it isn't Ubuntu Tweak's fault (or is it?)
Btw, where is that /apps/gwd/metacity_theme_active_shade_opacity key (I
mean in which file?). Because I might be able to figure out the solution
for myself:)
Thanks

Yes, it's not Ubuntu Tweak's fault.

You can try to set the value by this command:

    gconftool-2 -s /apps/gwd/metacity_theme_active_shade_opacity -t bool true

Hope this works.
