Bug Description
We're converting this question to a bug report hoping that someone from the Bug Squad will confirm this as wishlist.
------------------
This is my last, for now, suggestion (well, a multiple one).
Just choose one or more, or none of them, if you like.
Update Adds:
- Gpg keys (a script that search and install missing gpg keys automatically)
- Time
- Kernel
- Initramfs
- Damaged files (install -f)
- Grub/burg
Backup Adds:
- Give the choise of save the list of the installed programs to let the user re-install them automatically after a new system installation.
Cleaning Adds:
- Thumbnails
- History
Source Add:
Backup, restore (from backup or from scratch), create the source list file.
There is an easy way to create a source.list file within just 2-3 variables needed (distro name, country, etc.).
Nautilus Script Adds:
- One Click (script that do something automatically and with no prompt (such as UPDATE))
- Terminal history ( a script (or bettere a nautilus hack) to view the recent commands used in the terminal and to manage them
- Alias editor ( a script to manage the aliases used for the terminal (.bash_aliases))
Utility Adds:
- Grub2/burg editor
That's all, if you like something I'll explain better each, all of them are already implemented in a program of mine (a collection of scripts that I'd like to share).
