Bug Description

'E:Encountered a section with no package:header,E:problem with mergelist/var/lib/apt/lists it.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_maverick_main_binary-i386_packages,E:the package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened When I tried to update my 10.10 ubuntu version with the maverick updating packages the hole updating system blocked giving the message of error I reported above since then I wasn't able to update my computer again , what to do? Thanks for the help.
