Bug Description

I doubt this is a problem with Tweak, and is probably more an issue with Maverick and my graphics card. Prior to clicking on the "compiz settings" in Ubuntu Tweak, I had been having some issues with my graphics -- such as window edges and tops disappearing, inability to turn on visual effects in appearance, and gnome-menu failing to show on screen. However, when I went to access the compiz settings tab in Ubuntu Tweak, it promptly error-messaged me and the tab says, "this module encountered an error while loading".

Using Ubuntu-Tweak 0.5.7 on Maverick Meerkat (Ubuntu 10.10), which has Gnome 2.32.0 and Linux Kernel 2.6.35-22-generic

Same error here(though I haven't been haven't any problems with compiz itself). CCSM crashes when I try to modify settings, so I'm guessing the issue is with CCSM.
(Ubuntu-Tweak 0.5.7 on Ubuntu 10.10 64bit)

Do you install the new Compoz from PPA?

I normally install from the repositories instead of installing from the PPA. Although I did briefly install some updates from the PPA yesterday, and got some errors about broken dependencies that were easily fixed by checking Package Manager.
