Ubuntu Software Center should say "installed x am"

Ubuntu Software Center already says : "deleted 8am" and "updated 8am".
But is says also : "Installed at 8am". (in the French translation)

To be consistent it should say "installed 8am".

Yes, it is in the history.

That must be a translation issue with the French translation, as Software-center 5.2.1 on Precise does not use installed at x AM, only installed x AM. See the screenshot attached.

As a side-note, the specification (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter) specifies that the "at" word should not be there, so this bug should be about removing the "at" word from the installed at string's french translation, so I have added ubuntu translations as affected.

Thanks for the link to the specification. Indeed it shows that the "at" word is not to be shown.

Well, we'll have to stick to it but I don't understand why they don't want to see "at" between the action and the date. Maybe to avoid some technical or translation issues.

Even in the specification, when they describe the action they use "at" :
"For example, a removal that happened at 4:52 PM should appear in “All Changes” as “removed 4:52 PM”"...

Thibault, in English it's okay to say something was "installed 10:08 AM" or "removed 4:52 PM" -- especially when it's in a UI rather than a sentence. (You can see this on a flight arrivals board, for example. <http://www.bloomberg.com/photo/u-k-pensions-strike-fails-to-disrupt-flights-/127859.html>) And usually, if it's easy to remove words from an interface, the interface is better off without them.

Maybe in some languages it is just weird to not have a preposition in those cases. If so, it's fine for those translations to have one. Just as long as each language either does it or doesn't do it consistently.

Thanks for those clarifications. I understand that we have to keep it short and simple.
Maybe they should just add a comment in the code for the translators.

Bug still visible in Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (see attachment).

For instance:
« Mis à jour le 21h39 » should be « Mis à jour à 21h39 ».
« Supprimé 19h07 » should be « Supprimé à 19h07 ».
« Installé 11h03 » should be « Installé à 11h03 ».
