French spellcheck on Evolution doesn't recognize 1990 reformed spelling

OK, is there anyone here how knows French? When I was still running Ubuntu 10.11, I used new spellings like "connaitre", "aigüe", "gout" in my mails, and they didn't get underlined by the spellchecker, but since I've updated to Ubuntu 11.04 they do! The same applies to spell checking in Firefox boxes.

Sorry guys, it seems to me I blamed the wrong program: I think it must have something to do with the Ubuntu language package since I have the very same problem in Firefox, and even TexWorks (as far as spell checking is concerned).

Unless you have checked that the bug does not occur with a supported release, please don't close bugs as "old". That does not say anything about their relevance today.
