I just checked in VirtualBox : this bug also affects other non-English languages. (e.g. Spanish)

Thanks for your bug report Yann. I really don't know where this string comes from. I can't find it in Launchpad nor in language packs.
I hope that someone from the Ubuntu Installer team could help for this bug.

Grepping through the ubiquity sources, it seems that this message is already marked as translatable:

I confirmed this bug with VirtualBox and an iso of Ubuntu 10.10
