Bug Description
I tried a system update on Lucid AMD64 and now everything hangs on the package tzdata.
Everytime the package is to be installed the package-manager hangs.
After that i must manually cleanup the lock files but the installation is not clean and could not be repaired.
What can i do?
# apt-get install tzdata

Can you please tell me why this bug report is invalid?
Maybe this package is ok but then there is a problem with the package manager.
Now i can't install any package any more because dpkg says it MUST install this package.
Even if i set this pckage on hold.
I have no idea how to fix this problem?
The problem begins with the installation of iotop (refer to Bug 655553).
This package is definitely broken with an uncorrect filelist.
