Ubuntu gets its translations from the translations portion of Launchpad (http://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/), where translation teams work on making Ubuntu more useful in their language. If you want to change a translation in Ubuntu there is the right place.
It appears the translations for documentation other than the index have not been completed at this time. |

Binary package hint: xubuntu-desktop
In Intrepid Ibex/usr/share/xubuntu-docs/ misses localized folders, ie /usr/share/xubuntu-docs/fi even if language packs are installed.
Also in hardy with same situation, but with localized help folders: Applications --> Help doesn't link to localized help, but in main english help. |
