Bug Description
I.e. in the output of "readelf -d /usr/bin/alsamixer | egrep "NEEDED"" it says:
0x0000000000000001 (NEEDED) Gemeinsame Biblothek [libformw.so.5]
The word should be "Bibliothek" not "Biblothek".

Thanks djcj for reporting this translation bug.
I've tried to find the responsible package and string with moderate luck so far.
condor@herkules:~$ uname -a
Linux herkules 3.11.0-15-generic # 23-Ubuntu SMP Mon Dec 9 18:17:04 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
condor@herkules:~$ grep -R "Gemeinsame Biblothek" /usr/share/locale* locale- langpack/ de/LC_MESSAGES/ binutils. mo.
Übereinstimmungen in Binärdatei /usr/share/
In the Ubuntu Trusty package »binutils« there are a couple of translation templates in which I was only able to find this or similar strings. I've corrected the following in launchpad (not upstream):
https:/ /translations. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ trusty/ +source/ binutils/ +pots/binutils/ de/1089/ +translate
Old: »Gemeinsame Biblothek [%s]«
New: »Gemeinsame Bibliothek [%s]«
https:/ /translations. launchpad. net/ubuntu/ trusty/ +source/ binutils/ +pots/bfd/ de/140/ +translate
Old: »Fehler: Unpassender Verschiebungstyp für gemeinsamer Bibliothek ( -fpic vergessen?)«
New: »Fehler: Unpassender Verschiebungstyp für gemeinsame Bibliothek ( -fpic vergessen?)«
Does anyone have an idea whether this was all or if there are other packages or strings to look for regarding this typo? Should we report this upstream? Where? Didn't have the time to check any deeper myself yet …
Thanks and Regards
Dennis
