[Ubuntu Dock] Backlight marking the active application is too pale

The backlight behind an app icon marking the currently active application is too pale and hardly visible.
The backlight should be more bright to make the active application evident at first glance without need to examine the dock.

A way of fixing this is by adjusting the focus style in the stylesheet.css.

Eventually, if the "Unity 7" backlights are introduced, this will be less of a problem.

Concerning adjusting the style, I was sure that there is a way “under the hood” to do this. But I think that most users won't modify style of the Dock (actually, style of anything) by editing css files. So filing this bug report, I meant adjusting the default style.

Concerning Unity-style backlights, are they planned to be introduced into 17.10?

Yes, I also meant this in my previous comment. If this is seen as a usability problem, the extension would have to be packaged with an adjusted stylesheet.css.

I don't think so, as this would require a feature freeze exception.

I have added ubuntu-themes to the affected projects. Hope that it will draw attention of those who are responsible for adjusting stylesheet.css.
