Bug Description

borderless windows was enabled in 14.04, but it looks like that was not enabled under metacity which ubiquity installer uses. This also fixes the "ugly one pixel white border" around the installer which all designers complained to me about.

To match the compiz/unity7 theme we should disable borders in metacity as well.

This change would need updates to ubiquity screenshots on the ubuntu website. And possibly docs (last time i've checked there were no ubiquity screenshots in the docs though)

There are still no ubiquity screenshots in the desktop docs, so this is no problem from a docs team POV.

This is a fail =(

So i still see a one-px white line generated on the left hand side - sometimes.

also it's not possible to resize windows as there are no grab handles.

and there is no shadow on the windows, thus they look very flat post-it notes and no way to see where one window ends and a background one starts.

it's ok for ubiquity-dm - cause it's not resizable and a single window only....

i'm withdrawing this proposal for trusty.

Seems okay on our website screenshots, thanks for flagging though.
