This is an ongoing problem with confinement in the Ubuntu Terminal App. Using the Libertine command-line tools work fine outside of confinement withing the Ubuntu Terminal App (eg. using a remote shell connection like adb or ssh).

Adding a bug task for the Ubuntu Terminal App to address its limited utility.

Changed in ubuntu-terminal-app (Ubuntu):
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Medium

Thanks, yes it works with adb shell. Would there be any chance of a better error message, until this is properly fixed? Could libertine-container-manager do a check before running?
