Use cool retro term effects if running on the desktop

Bug Description

This is just a wishlist feature request after having used the terminal app on the desktop for a while and comparing it to gnome-terminal.

While the set of effects g-t is limited, it at least has background transparency, which makes it more attractive to users. I'm thinking that on a desktop setting (e.g. if MainView.width >= 100GU) it'd be good to show an Effects menu under Settings, which could be a reduced (or full) set of effects of cool-old-term.

(Someone with permissions should set this to wishlist)

Personally, I'd like this, it'd be cool if we could make a list of all the effects that this would encompass

Once I get my Ubuntu installation good again, I'll create a quick branch to serve as a starting point for some of these effects.

Since I have free time again, a quick update: I've looked some into this, the transparency would have to be handled by the QmlTermWidget, as that's what handles all the color schemes, so I do still have to do some more learning and poking around to figure out how :)
