Bug Description

Or any other of the nano control key combos nano uses eg. to save the document which makes it completely impossible to use nano in the terminal app. If there is a way to enter any other control+key sequence than ctrl+r/c/a/z then I can't find it.

Definitely agreed. The only way to add shortcut, is through json profiles; there is no other option at the moment. I believe the right way to fix this is to create a nano profile, but if we find it useful somewhere else we'll add ctrl+x to the control bar.

Actually nano uses loads of ctrl+key combos so adding ctrl+x would only make it possible to quit nano, not to actually use it. Why not simply add a ctrl key? There are numerous other programs where you need it, and ssh:ing into a server to fix something and then realizing you can't even quit the program you opened is no fun.

After seeing how much people use nano, it would seem wise for us to add CTRL+X to the CTRL bar, but also makes sense to have a nano specific bar.

I would have liked to see either a nano specific toolbar, or, in the settings, the option to define my own ctrl+"" for the toolbar. I wrote a huge piece of text in nano only to abandon it after I realized I couldn't save or quit.

Marking fixed as we have a nano terminal overlay by default.
