Bug Description
On Nexus 7, in the terminal keyboard, the long press key options include enye and umlauted characters, but commonly used command-line characters such as ~ | < > / - _ are only available by switching to a different layout.

Hi jerza, as you might know, we are working on a Terminal Reboot (a preliminary version is already in the store) which features an additional keys and controls on the top the system keyboard. We will put the most used, layout dependent terminal keys in there for faster access.
