Yesterday I got an email about an update of the status of this bug.
This report seems to be a duplicate of #1423536, which has been reported on December, 2014 too.
Having a look at the commits history for terminal-app, in December 5th, 2014 there was no "swipe left/right" gesture, which has been introduced with the revision nĀ° 57 [1].
Since the gesture currently exists in the released version of the terminal-app, the report should be marked as "Fix released" for terminal-app, and "Invalid" for Ubuntu UX :)
