Bug Description
Hi,
This bug report follow a discussion at /r/ubuntuAppDev ( http://
In the terminal, we need to access fastly some key combo like CTRL+C (stoping a ping for exemple) or similar CTRL+Z, CTRL+X, (...)
We used to have access to those key button by pressing a long tap on the screen, that display a circle overlay full of buttons.
Since the new "reboot" branch, it seems this functionnality is droped, and we now need to find those button in menu then scroll horizontaly to find the good one.
* We might lose a beautifull design (some people i did showcase found it beautifull) but it doesn't fit the new design I will understand.
* But we are also losing an UX key feature (all people I did a showcase of the terminal found it clever/awsome to be able to trigger fast at any time those button combo after showing me how they have bad issu on their own app).
This missing feature was perfect for the phone (and tablet?) factor.
Note: I am not aware of your roadmap, might be marked as personnal opinion.
