Unable to update packages - nothing happens after the download progress bar completes

Bug Description
I have bought a bq Aquaris 4.5 phone today. I tried to install all availabe updates to it, but unfortunately, even though all progress bars completed, the "Installing..." message appeared and disappeared, the system still sais there are the same 24 updates available.
I tried restarting the phone or updating individual packages but neither has worked.

I have connected the phone to a WLAN and now I could download the system upgrade to 15.04, after which updates worked correctly. I am not marking this as invalid yet, as if not being able to download OS upgrades over a mobile data connection is a feature, the user should be properly notified that an upgrade is available.
