Allow break-out/annotation boxes beyond prose width

Bug Description

Richard has kindly had a go at applying the Ubuntu Style Guideline to the existing (very simple) font.ubuntu.com content:

When images are used with text within the 544 pixel maximum width for prose, this can lead to extreme squeezing (a usable text width of < 230 pixels):

  http://font.ubuntu.com/rupee/

Ideally it would be useful if the branding guidelines allowed break-out boxes and information boxes to extent beyond this restrictive central width. Additionally, at the other end of the scale some page already appear to use a full width 940-pixel-wide bounding box for prose layout:
