Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. Can you please let us know if the entire Firefox program is in English or just the Start Page? It sounds like this may be a duplicate of bug 526897, but I would like to confirm that the behavior is same before marking it as such.

For me is just the start page. The interface of the browser is in the correct language.

The translations for Ubuntu 10.04 start page were not yet uploaded to the webserver.

This is why the webpage is not translated yet.

I think that this bug is not fixed.

I have tested with Lucid and I can not access the translated Google pages.
