Bug Description

The HTML 5 example codes were from the previous platform long time ago, they could not be running on our phone at all.

 bzr branch lp:ubuntu-sdk-tutorials

The should be recreated using the latest SDK, and make the changes
accordingly.

I also found that the latest "Facebook albums" app does not work on the 14.10 Utopic desktop

On Utopic 14.10 desktop, after I click "Show Accounts" in "html5-example-online-accounts" app, it does not show me anything there even though I have selected my accounts. Attached please find the picture.

Best regards,
XiaoGuo

@xiaoguo,

 From comment#2, I found the error is related to .exclude file, how about when you try to delete it? Thanks!

@bin,

I just tried to remove thhe .exclude file, but it still did not work. Did you test it on Utopic desktop? Thanks!

David Barth (dbarth) wrote :

The ..exclude is generated by the IDE to mark certain files as excluded for the revision control system. This should not impact your app working or not.

@david, yes, you are right. I just updated the latest SDK, the problem has been resolved. The SDK team has pushed fix for it.

David Barth (dbarth) wrote :

The latest fixes landed in the Ubuntu SDK PPA, both for vivid and 14.10. 14.04 is left unchanged, as this is running QtWebkit by default, and so we sticked to a known-to-work release of the HTML5 toolkit, albeit without the newest widgets like the top-header.

Please confirm that this does solve your problems

I solves the problem though I have observed that the performance-wise, it is not compared to the one on vivid.

Thanks!
