Bug Description

current build number: 158
device name: krillin
channel: ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09-proposed
last update: 2014-11-12 14:21:10
version version: 158
version ubuntu: 20141112.1
version device: 20141106-572f18d
version custom: 20141111-424-19

If you open facebook with browser (or webapp), try sharing a photo from the website directly, and you'll see that facebook will say that the browser doesn't support sharing via the browser (saying browser doesn't support it).

Check the attached screenshot.

I'm guessing they changed something on Facebook site and now they don't like our UA string, as this definitely used to work. I used it many times in the past.

Changed in webbrowser-app (Ubuntu RTM):
importance: Undecided → High

I tried a few UAs and I couldn't find a UA that could make it work fine unless I strip Ubuntu 14.04. I haven't tried an extensive number of strings though, but various combinations aligned with the kind of overrides we have in place for some sites,

does removing the Ubuntu string cause any noticeable side effects?

If i try using the Android 4.4 UA, the post form appears again, but the
camera and "add photo" option is still inactive.
