Bug Description
In the model provided by SortFilterModel the sorting is handled such that lower case letters are after any and all items that start with an upper case letter. This produces ordering such as the following when sorting by Qt.AscendingOrder:
Awesome
Cool
Excellent
Wonderful
abysmal
bad
wrong
It would ideal if the result was a case insensitive ordering.

A similar bug (lp:1391018) has been filed against the mediascanner2 component. The music app was going to use the SortFilterModel to work around the mediascanner2 issue (and another issue related to sorting), but that is not possible given the current ordering of sorted items in SortFilterModel.
