Comment 20 for bug 48734

I believe that the previous comments from me on this bug were quite well-thought-out and explanatory. I certainly made an effort to give a clear explanation of why I believe this to be the correct default rather than just saying "no", and I also noted ways in which I think this could be improved at the desktop UI level.
