Bug Description
For the desktop use case vertical scrolling should be used for articles shorts view.
App should determine desktop or phone and adjust accordingly.
As a by-product vertical mousewheel scrolling should work as horizontal scrolling currently does.

I vote against this feature. Horizontal scrolling looks very modern and cool. And grid mode items were designed for horizontal scrolling. I want to know Lisette's opinion about that (Placement algo is very difficult due to item's inconsistent sizes, it will be hard to implement it for vertical scrolling too)
