Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:

Open the rss reader.
Open the toolbar.
Click the Add reads button.
Click the +Add feeds option.
Enter http://www.canonical.com/rss.xml as the feed address.
Press the enter key.
Check the Canonical checkbox.
On the +New topic text field, enter "Test"

After that, you will remain on the main "Shorts" tab, and no tab is created for the newly created topic.

I can't reproduce it on the phone, but I can reproduce it always on the desktop using trunk.

That's wired, I've tested is for about 10 times, and only one time I reproduced this bug, by input "art"-- select first -- enter "art".

then I delete all files in "~/.local/com.ubuntu.shorts", this bug disappear.

Still trying to find out why

Console logs can be helpful. If you can reproduce it on your PC, it's quite
easy to get it.
We must know which kind of problem we have.

Thanks!

I saw the fix; I'm not qml dev but I'm guessing it's really only a patch until better tab management exists or ?

Thanks for making this work!
