Bug Description
The home screen displays the current day only from the day when the phone was started. As I let it run for days, this becomes an issue (today being May 10th and get displayed as May 8th.
Events today shows no events. I enter Tasks, Reminders and Calendar events. None shows.
After a reboot, these events are shown (and not eliminated if they are removed or checked of in the event handling application)
I have marked some contacts as favourites. If I edit (other) contacts, my favourites regularly disappear (a reboot does not bring those back, I have to star them again). Let me add: This is very serious as one of my favourites is my spouse and she keeps asking questions when her image disappears (and it is hers to go away first, don't know why).
My personal favourite in refused update is the weather report. Fortunately it was sunny recently but the unfortunate part is, I forgot my umbrella a few days ago. It did rain but the weather app still kept the unrefreshed information.
Same with recent messages and recent calls.
I have deleted the news part so can't say much about those.
Hi Wolf! Thanks for filing this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better! I believe what you are asking for is for the Scopes shown in the shell to periodically refresh so the data is current. I've added the main scopes project as affected by this.
