Suddenly wireless lost connection to AP, did not seem to re-acquire. Connected via wire, and system locked. Waited about a minute, then forced power cycle.
After reboot, /var/log/syslog showed this:

I am almost sure this was *not* the final cause for the system to become unresponsive -- system kept on for almost one hour after this warning.

Hi Carlos,
Can you comment how readily you are able to reproduce this issue? If you are able to reproduce, can you also comment which kernel version this issue started appearing? Additionally, if you have a good reproducer, could you also give the linux-backports -modules- cw-3.3- precise- generic package a try (ie install, reboot, and run your reproducer). It provides an updated compat-wireless stack from v3.3 and thus an updated rtlwifi driver. Thanks.
