no internet connection in 9.04

Bug Description

When i connect the cable to the LAN port in 9.04 the SO show the mensage "connected with auto ETH0" after that the LAN works but no the internet connection... the network manager show the ip (192.168.0.4) show also the subnet ip but dnt show the broadcast ip...

this bug only appears in 9.04 (clean instalation and liveCd); in 8.10 and before all works fine.

It's ok that you don't know how it was fixed, because I don't have an explanation for why it was broken in the first place, either... :)

The Ubuntu release notes project is used to keep track of known errata in the release. This appears to be an undiagnosed bug or configuration problem, and as such there is nothing to document. Closing again as invalid. If you believe this is a bug in network manager, you should open a bug report against that package.
