Bug Description

The non-authented parts of the API redirect http requests to https. Should the client consistently use https?
Or should the server stops these redirects?

This is mostly relevant for offline support for recommendations as the httplib2 will not follow cached redirects.

Agree, the server should stop redirecting http to https; it should probably even redirect https to http for those calls.

We should double check our cookies are secure.
