[2.6.28-rc8] Network manager does not show wireless strength

Bug Description

This only applies to Intrepid 8.10 with a 2.6.28-rc8 custom built kernel.

For the updated kernel:
http://www.ludd.ltu.se/~scuba/debs/

When connected to a wireless network the "strength-bars" are transparent and does not show in blue (like default) how strong the signal is.

Testing Jaunty with new official 2.6.28-1.6 linux-ports kernel, Network Manager correctly shows wireless signal strength. So if it's ok I think we can close this.
