Bug Description
I am running 14.04 with the latest updates on an HP Pavilion. After shutdown battery power drops fairly rapidly to zero in about 24hours. This situation has got worse since about two kernel revisions ago, at which point it also refused to identify USB 3 disks. I am reporting it as a bug because I cannot see any reason why the system should not have shut down completely, yet it seems as if there may be a process or processes running nonetheless.
There was an issue with apport, but I have re-installed and that doesn't appear to have cured anything much.
Incomplete shutdown? What further info do you need me to provide?
