Bug Description

Russian PDF builds currently fall back to using cyrillic version of Computer Modern fonts from cm-super-minimal package (before my today's commit they were using rasterized fonts). This is not ideal, and some parts (i.e. code blocks which are not monospace) are still broken.

Another problem was missing character map, I've proposed a pull request to Sphinx for that.

r280 is up on developer.u.c now. Thanks a lot for your work on this!

Do you have a link to the upstream pull request? Shall we open an Ubuntu bug about the sphinx problem? At some stage we should probably get an updated sphinx version in the archive, SRUed and a packaging-guide uploaded and backported as well. Getting a Russian translation out there is just fantastic!

Here it is: https://bitbucket.org/birkenfeld/sphinx/pull-request/114.

Originally new sphinx release was planned for December/January, but it is still not released, and they even didn't reply to my mail (https://groups.google.com/d/msg/sphinx-dev/-ZKSt_IxMXY/zieq8euRvSoJ) :(

I'll try to ask them one more time about that, and if the result will be negative, I'll cherry-pick some fixes to raring and then do a SRU.

This particular issue is minor, so I don't think it's worth backporting.
