GLES / EGL fullscreen mode is broken

So far I have only found 2/3 OGLES games that both compile and run successfully on the Panda and they all have the same problem in that if you don't start them in windowed mode all you get is a black screen although you can tell the program is running as you can still hear the sound and navigate through the menus 'blind'.

The 3 games that demonstrate this are d1x, d2x and Hurrican SDL:
