Hvis du besøker http://ubuntu.no, så kommer du til de vanlige hjemmesidene. Men hvis du åpner http://www.ubuntu.no, så kommer du til Apaches "It works!".

Mange vil lenke til www.ubuntu.no, så dette må fikses snarest!

mod_rewrite har blitt satt opp:
  RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.ubuntu.no) [NC]
  RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://ubuntu.no$1 [R=301,L]
