avahi-daemon consumes lot a CPU in crowded enviroments

Bug Description

In crowded environment (currently UDS) avahi-daemon is always in the top 5 processes sorted by CPU usage.
It's a problem on the Nexus7 since on this platform it often uses between 10% to 25% CPU (according to top)
