Mobile USB Image is actually a MID image

Bug Description

In releases.ubuntu.com there are apparently two kinds of USB images. According to the web page:

* Mobile USB Image >> This USB image is optimized for ultra-mobile PCs and netbooks with screens up to 10"
* MID USB Image >> This USB image is optimized for handheld devices with 4-7" touchscreens and limited processing power

However, I downloaded the Mobile USB Image and it appears to actually be a MID image, with this features on by default:

* virtual keyboard
* touchscreen calibration panel
* touch-controlled web browser
* supersized, finger friendly top panel
* enormous sidebar that is locked in place
* no Network Remix launcher

This does not look at all as the Network Remix, and is almost unusable on a netbook, where the standard desktop installation is far more suited.

I believe a MID image has mistakenly been posted as a Mobile USB image, and the real MUSB installation is missing. Am I right? If so, please post real Mobile USB Image for evaluation.

Hi Irios, and thanks for your report.

The name "Ubuntu Mobile" was indeed a bit too generic, and it was pointed out to us during RC testing.

We renamed the image to "UMPC". I don't think it's unfit for netbooks, lots of people actually prefer it to Ubuntu classic, but it's a matter of taste: use what you like!

Concerning UNR, the clutter 0.8 port for intrepid landed a bit late, with slightly too many bugs, and the requirements for OpenGL support. We will reconsider it for Jaunty during UDS.
