Bug Description

Build Version/Date: 20080527 Menlow
Environment used for testing: Xephyr

Summary: I took the oo-trig.xls file from Ubuntu Examples folder and placed it on my server. When selecting it I expected to be asked to download it as I was with the .doc file. However it got opened in OO.o/Star Office instead.

Steps to Reproduce: Open browser goto http://www.davmor2.blueyonder.co.uk/oo-trig.xls

Expected result: Download and then use Office Doc Reader to view it

Actual result: Was shown in OO.o/Star Office (it's probably OO.o but in browser it shows up as Star Office)

This is still happening but the Office Document Reader now opens the xls correctly

I don't think this is a bug. When you click on a link, you expect to have the link handled. In this case it's being opened by the program that can candle it. If I want it to be saved, I have to use the "Save link as..." option. I would set this as invalid.

Adilson Under normal circumstances I would agree but the app that is meant to handle it is actual Office Document Reader the user according to people I ask should have no access to OOo

This should be converted into a pdf and displayed as .doc files are. OO should be run headless to convert to pdf and treb should handle this.

Please fix treb to handle this like a .doc is handled.

I thought I added this here before. This is not treb's fault, it's the way the file is handled by the browser and/or file manager. The associated mime type is calling OO instead of treb. One thing that's missing on treb is the ability to have the file name passed as a command line. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do that so soon as I'll be traveling for the next 2 weeks.
