Summary:
For some reason after clicking the panel applet to close buddy list, the home screen icon will no re-open the running instance. Launching splash screen appears but focus is not switched to running instance.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Launch Pidgin
2) Click panel applet
3) Click Chat icon on desktop
Expected result:
Running instance receives focus
Actual result:
Splash screen appears but app is not maximized.
