Brisk menu crashes when adding Weather to panel. Weather also crashes and won't load

I tried adding the weather to the brisk menu, it itself crashed (This application quit unexpectedly, and then this causes brisk menu to crash, only way to get it back is to use Mate tweak to change the panel to something else then again to bring back the one you want. Also, the plank preferences and the the windows control buttons move to the right hand side when i want them to be on the left.

I have uploaded the crash file from /var/crash
