If I press the Win key to activate brisk-menu, and my mouse cursor is located in the top left where the drop-down menu will appear, whatever menu field is under the cursor will grab the focus instead of the typing field. So I cannot just start typing to search for the program that I want to launch.
This is on Ubuntu Mate 24.04 with brisk-menu 0.6.2 (package mate-applet-brisk-menu 0.6.2-2build2).
The window manager is marco 1.26.2-4build4 (running as marco --replace --composite).
Not sure where I can report this upstream, since Solus is not maintaining brisk-menu any longer, if I understand this comment correctly:

If the mouse pointer is outside the drop-down menu when I press the Win key, it works as expected, the typing field gets focus and I can type to search.
