Bug Description
I am using Ubuntu Mate 22.04.1 Installation from USB stick.
When I have started (test mode) and for example use Firefox browser and add Plugin Video Helper.
This part works, but when I add the companion application with GB-package manager, I get a new screen just with a window asking to login in.
user name ubuntu and empty password do not work.
I had the same in other situations. Like copying from download area to usb stick. It appears the operation is successfully executed in the background. I just don't get back to system -> restart.c
Any idea?

Hi,
Found out that when the window is open, my keyboard is switched from German to I guess US.
That is, why ubuntu-mate did not work. I can log in again But appears that the companion is not loaded. Maybe it is a resource issue. It is an old PC
