Bug Description
Ubuntu Mate 20.04.1
Redmond UI
My-Weather-
Asus laptop with i5-3xxx with NVidia Geforce 630M
Asus laptop i7-6xxx processors with NVidia Geforce card
Issue appears since (clean) installation of Ubuntu Mate 20.04. and remained using ISO 20.04.1
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Turn on the laptop
2. Launch the My-Weather-
Setting:
in Main Location choose a location and check "Show widget".
Click OK.
Result: App is shown on Desktop
3. Open Caja/a browser
- pretend to work
- minimize/maximize Caja/browser window in between
- Close Caja or browser or click on the Desktop with mouse
Result: App is blended out.
Note: App is not crashed, it just turned to hidden.
It must have to do with the new desktop window management which also allows to have thumbnails in Panel.
I tested the issue on 2 Asus laptops and a Lenovo Desktop PC with LinuxMint and it happens on all 3 systems.
It [UPDATA] does happen in Virtualbox.
I have attached video showing what happens.

I installed an update this morning on my test system and it seems to be fixed. Keep the fingers crossed.
