When boot in EFI mode with a live to Try Ubuntu Mate, no way to select the language. In other hand, when boot in bios legacy mode, we can select the language with live to Try Ubuntu Mate. But, in EFI mode, no way to select language, nor at Grub menu, nor at session login. With a live of Ubuntu classic (Gnome), in EFI mode, we can select language at session login. Attached screenshots, one from bios legacy mode, the second from EFI mode and the third from Ubuntu classic in EFI mode. Most computer today use EFI mode by default and I think it's a very wrong step to discover Linux in an unknown language (english for very old italian people for example). |
