Long time problem with Caja

Bug Description
Hi to all. Not really a great bug, but a bit annoying...
When after login the desktop appears, Caja uses some PC resources for about 15 / 20 sec.
During this time it's impossible to open a Caja window.
First time this happens on a Dell XPS13 with Ubuntu Mate 14.04.
Then, on my desk PC, an Asus VM60 with 16.04.
Now, after OS update on the XPS13, also with 18.04.
Always, login as new user is not affected.... all perfect!
During the "waiting" time, Caja uses between 25 % to 50% of the PC resources.
Any idea? Thanks so much.
