Bug Description

Repeated notifications of internal errors in Ubuntu MATE 17.10. Lost WiFi connection and when I tried to reconnect, the WiFi menu item grayed out. Had to reboot to get WiFi back.

It is not a hardware issue. It only happened after switching to 19.10. What evidence do you have that is is not a kernel bug?

The apport application does not always correctly remove the crash report. This will resolve the “System program problem detected” Pop-up not going away

Delete files here: /var/crash/
sudo rm /var/crash/*
