Desktop wallpaper scales incorrectly with 2 screens with different resolutions and orientations

Bug Description

I have 2 screens, one landscape 2560x144 and one portrait 1920x1080. When I set a wallpaper it scales fine initially, correctly cropping on the portrait screen. Then, after entering standby and waking back up the image on the higher resolution landscape monitor is upscaled, cropping both vertically and horizontally.

This could be related to my higher resolution monitor being significantly slower to wake back up from sleep mode (of the order of 5 secs).
