Password box missing from login screen

Can you give us more info like what version of Ubuntu Mate are you using, it’s the system up to date etc? Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I am running Ubuntu MATE 19.04 on a Lenovo T430 Laptop. All patched etc.

I do switch from running on an external hd screen to the internal one from
time to time which is 1366x768 (I think).

I am not a Linux expert but have been using it on and off since Slackware 3
and am using Ubuntu to learn python and kubernetes.

Please let me know if there’s a way of getting any other info you need.
